The shims are mainly used to fill vertical gaps for motors, pumps, turbines and generators in mechanical and plant engineering, as well as in maintenance. They are mainly used in applications with high physical stresses. Variations and designs Solid single-plates are manufactured as standard in stainless steel 1.4301 / 1.4310, and are available in various sizes. Thicknesses range from very thin foils starting at 0.05 mm up to 2 mm thick sheets. To facilitate insertion and removal, single-plate shims feature a perforated tab. In addition, they are rounded at all corners (radius outside = 6 mm / radius inside = 9 mm). Shims are also available with your logo imprinted on request.
