Shim plates

Shim plates or shims are sheet metal parts which are used to shim or fill gaps. The parts are used e.g. on machine bases, or as shims to fill the horizontal gaps between components and assemblies in mechanical and plant engineering. The standard materials for shim sheets are stainless steel, steel, aluminum, and brass. The minimum sheet thickness for single sheets is 0.05 mm. We also offer shims made of laminated sheet, which are available with individual sheet thicknesses from 0.025 mm.
