These are mainly used for filling vertical gaps for motors, pumps, turbines, and generators in mechanical and plant engineering, as well as in maintenance. They are primarily used in applications with high physical stress. Variants and designs peel-plate shims are manufactured in stainless steel 1.4301/1.4310 (AISI 304/301) as standard, and are available in various sizes. Thicknesses range from very thin films of 0.05 mm to sheets several millimeters thick. Shims of the peel-plate brand are rounded at all corners (radius = 6 mm). peel-plate shims are available as standard either as individual sheets or as assorted assembly sets directly from stock.
