vario-plate Startseite 9 Products 9 Shims 9 Standard shims 9 vario-plate Standard shims from 0.05 mm Shims of the vario-plate brand are U-shaped individual sheets made of stainless steel. The shims are mainly used to fill vertical gaps for motors, pumps, turbines, and generators in mechanical and plant engineering, as well as in maintenance. They are used especially in applications with high physical stresses. Variations and designs Our vario-plates have a perforated tab (18 mm) and a slightly open insertion slot for easy insertion and removal. The outer corners are rounded to a radius of 6 mm. vario-plates are manufactured as standard in stainless steel 1.4301 / 1.4310, and are available in various sizes. Thicknesses range from very thin foils starting at 0.05 mm up to 2 mm thick sheets. Shims of the vario-plate brand are available as standard either as individual sheets, or as assorted assembly sets directly from stock. Our shims are also available with your company’s logo imprinted on request. We also supply complete assembly sets in a practical assembly case.
